Flying Dutchmen (drama), receives € 1.500.000 support. This series tells the story about founders of the Dutch aviation, idealist Albert Plesman and opportunist Anthony Fokker, who are inextricably bound together. They cannot live with or without each other. During the interwar period and in spite of their differences, they pull off setting up civil aviation in the Netherlands, when the world is heading for a new war. Written by Winchester McFly –Thomas van der Ree, in coproduction with AVROTROS. The series is developed with the support of the Creative Europe Programme – MEDIA of the European Union.
