First shooting day The Commune by Thomas Vinterberg

October 27th the principal photography of coproduction The Commune (OT: Kollektivit) started. The film shoot takes place in Denmark and Sweden.

The Dutch crew consists of Ellen Lens (costume design), Marly van de Wardt (make up) and Daniël Bouquet (2nd camera operator).

The story, written by Tobias Lindholm (Borgen, Jagten) and Thomas Vinterberg, is a no-holds-barred account of what happens when personal desires collide with the notion of community.

The Commune will be produced by Zentropa Entertainment Denmark, Zentropa International Sweden, Zentropa International Netherlands and Topkapi Films.  

September Film will distribute the film in the Benelux.
