Last Sunday the film The Family Way (Alles is Familie) directed by Joram Lürsen and written by Kim van Kooten received the Golden Film Award. Since its release last Thursday November 22th more than 100.000 visitors saw the feature film in the Dutch theatres.
Scenario writer Kim van Kooten and main actors Carice van Houten, Thijs Römer, Benja Bruijning and Jacob Derwig received the award Sunday in Tuschinski from the Netherlands Film Festival and the Netherlands Filmfund. Kim van Kooten also received the Golden Pen, an initiative of the Scenario Writing Network (Netwerk Scenarioschrijvers), for the scenario of The Family Way.
The Family Way is distributed by A-Film and screened in 141 theatres.
