We are excited to announce that director Ashgan El-Hamus has been selected for the treatment phase of the Dutch Film Fund’s De Oversteek with her new project A FAIR DIARY.
De Oversteek is an annual collaborative project of the Dutch Film Fund, NPO Fund, CoBO, VPRO and NTR. It is aimed at the development and stimulation of Dutch talent and their projects. De Oversteek is intended for beginning directors who want to realize their first artistic feature film project. The project gave directors like Floor van der Meulen, Ena Sedijardvic, Sacha Polak, Jim Taihuttu, Saskia Diesing, Shariff Korver and Mees Peijnenburg the chance to make their feature film.
A FAIR DIARY is one of the six projects that have made the selection for the treatment phase. Later this year, four will be selected to develop their scenarios. In the end, two projects will be realized with a contribution from the funds.
