Psychological thriller Auf Einmal, directed by Asli Özge, will be released in Dutch theatres from May 18. The film will be available on Picl (on demand) as well.
After the party in Karsten’s apartment, everybody leaves except Anna. Admiringly, Karsten approaches this mysterious woman. How could he have known, that in a moment of weakness, his well-established life would spiral out of control and turn into a disaster? In this small provincial German town, disappointment soon fuels anger, justice hides behind hypocrisy and evil gradually unfolds.
Auf Einmal (All of a Sudden) received a Special Mention from Europa Cinemas Label during the Berlinale and won the FIPRESCI award during the Istanbul Film Festival.
Co-producer Topkapi Films will release the film in the Netherlands, in collaboration with Herrie Film & TV.
