Bloedlink (Reckless) is selected as the opening film of the 34th Netherlands Film Festival. The thriller, made by Golden Calf winners Joram Lürsen and Frank Ketelaar, will premiere September 24th in TivoliVredenburg. Marwan Kenzari, Tygo Gernandt and Sarah Chronis play the leading parts in the film that will have its release in Dutch theatres September 25th.

Ex-cons Victor (Tygo Gernandt) and Rico (Marwan Kenzari) have masterminded a foolproof plan to abduct millonaires’ daughter Laura Temming (Sarah Chronis). When she is kidnapped and placed in a remote and soundproofed room, gradually the power relations shift. Exactly who is the perpetrator and who is the real victim?

Bloedlink is a film by Topkapi Films in coproduction with BNN. The film is a remake of The Disappearance of Alice Creed. Bloedlink is supported by the Netherlands Filmfund, CoBO and the Abraham Tuschinski Fund. A Film Benelux releases the film in Dutch cinema.
