El Cinco de Talleres, the new feature film by Adrián Biniez (Gigante), will have its Dutch premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2015. The HBF+ coproduction, that had its world premiere during Venice Days 2014, is part of the Bright Future section of the festival.

The romantic drama El Cinco is about the 35-year-old Patón, Captain of the Talleres de Escalada football team, which plays in the Argentine C Class. After a foul, he is suspended for eight matches. Frustration and depression seem to be lurking in the background, but the opposite happens.

Screenings at the festival are:

* Friday 23-01 – 15.45h – Pathé 5

* Monday 26.01 – 15.30h – Pathé 3

* Tuesday 27.01 – 16.00h – Pathé 1

* Friday 30.01 – 12.30h – Oude Luxor

El Cinco is a HBF+ coproduction, produced by Mutante Cine (Uruguay), Morocha Films (Argentina), Pandora Films (Germany), Petit Film (France), Topkapi Films (the Netherlands) and CTB Film Company (Russia). The film is supported by the Netherlands Filmfund and the Hubert Bals Fund.
