The two short films, FANNY and ZIELBESTUIVER have been selected for the Film Fund Shorts. Within the framework of talent development, The Dutch Film Fund has selected 9 short films out of 27 projects. Each selected project receives a contribution of €40.000.
FANNY, written and directed by Sven Bresser, tells the story of a musician who sets out to find his missing sister but as his search progresses he realizes he already lost her years earlier.
ZIELBESTUIVER, written by Saar Ponsioen and directed by Marit Weerheijm, tells the story of Wies (14), who wants to save the climate but her ambitions keep her from reaching her goals.
